Job Description
Candidate will be responsible
for supporting the firm’s core
tax function focusing on
investment funds, trade
operations, product management
and client support. This will
include day-to-day management of
core tax functions related to
investment partnerships and
offshore investment funds.
Further, the individual will be
responsible for managing tax
issues related to securities
trading, client information
reporting, foreign withholding
taxes, global tax jurisdictions
and structuring of investment
products.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidate must have a
degree in Finance or Accounting
and 3 + years of experience with
a top-tier audit firm in the tax
area or possess equivalent work
experience (CPA preferred).
Experience in international
taxation related to the
investment management industry
is strongly preferred. Must be
able to work independently,
learn and apply new skills,
communicate effectively with all
levels of management and have
superior organizational skills.
Project management experience.
Knowledge of futures, options,
mortgage-backed and
international fixed income
securities is beneficial. Must
have strong working knowledge of
MS Excel.
